The walk starts along the main road towards Verviers, which you leave to cross the Fenderie bridge. The route, on the right side after the bridge, runs along the Vesdre and leads to "Ry des Chenaux". You turn right towards the railway bridge and the chapel of Trooz. You cross the main road to climb towards Noirefalise and Hurlevent, before arriving in the village of Fraipont and passing through Drève Patureau. The walk continues towards Nessonvaux and passes Hansez before returning to the Fenderie and then to the station.
