From the Place de Courquain, the setting of Dany Boon's film "Rien à declarer", you follow a forest path that takes you to the Great Passage of La forêt du Pays de Chimay. This expansive forest with a picturesque atmosphere is interrupted by rural hills shaped by the river Helpe and several lakes, of which the lake "Etang de la Fourchinée" is the largest. The lake is the source of the river "Eau Blanche" that flows through the area, guiding you between forests and meadows to the princely town of Chimay where you will follow a short urban route to reach the Grand Place. In this area, there are three camping zones: camping site "Le Nouveau Monde", camping site "Le Sentier des Pins", and camping site "Les Crayats".
