We found sufficient parking on Sionkloosterlaan. The first part in the Uitlegger was surprisingly beautiful due to the winding ponds. Here you can recognize the influence of humans on the landscape. The 2nd part is in the Klein Schietveld. Former military domain and very authentic forest landscape. At the Light Flying Corps, you will find tavern Perron Noord. I would still recommend wearing mud-resistant footwear. The paths are often uneven. But the beautiful nature makes it all worth it!
