Brussels was founded on the banks of the Zenne. Once, the Zenne was an attractive and fish-rich river with an abundance of yellow irises along its banks. Today, the yellow iris is the symbol of the Brussels-Capital Region. Through street names, buildings, monuments, and other relics, this walk invites you not only to follow the traces of the river but also to discover the story of the canal and the old and new port in the city.
