Cycle through the Rupel region, past the brickmaking villages of Hemiksem, Schelle, Niel, Boom, Terhagen and Rumst. Boom pans are still a household name in the construction industry. You also cycle through rural Reet and past the castles of Kontich and Aartselaar. Ride along the dikes of Scheldt and Rupel. In this extension of the Brick Route, a loop south of the Rupel has been added to the route.
