The Warmest Ride 2024

"THE WARMEST RIDE - 5TH EDITION" with the racing bike for the good cause together with Evident Cycling Team as part of the 24 Hours of Cimorné and the Warmest Week.

Start on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Cimorné in Aalst! (Alfred Nichelsstraat 14, 9300 Aalst). Registration opens at 8:30 AM. Please arrive on time!!!

±70 km: Departure and arrival at Cimorné Aalst.

In a group of a maximum of 120 cyclists, we will ride a tour of ±70 km through the beautiful landscape of East Flanders and Flemish Brabant.
Average speed: 25 to 26 km/h. Under the motto Together out, together back! Including a generous supply after 42.5 km.
Accompanied by road captains from Evident Cycling Team & the motorcycles of the Flemish Motorcycle Signalers.

Registration is possible until Wednesday, December 18 at 2:00 PM. However, places are limited to 120 participants!!! QUICK REGISTRATION IS THE MOTTO !!

The participation fee is at least € 20.00, higher contributions are voluntary and very welcome. (Bank account number = BE60 8916 6406 8070)

The proceeds will go entirely to the Warmest Week and the following good causes:

Vzw Shelter has been committed for many years to giving lonely youth a warm home. The shelter house, which is rented in Naarstigheidsstraat (Aalst), now wishes to buy the Vzw, and any financial help is more than welcome.

Vzw Skate Aalst, a new association in Aalst, organizes skate courses, workshops, and camps. They also target disadvantaged youth and therefore we are happy to support them in purchasing skate materials and conducting courses.

The Suicide Helpline, initiated by the Golden Boys, in memory of their chairman. As a football team, they want to raise awareness about the suicide helpline. This offers help for people with dark thoughts, as well as for the bereaved, concerned friends, and family.

After the ride, you will be offered a coffee or a Flandrien with rice cakes at Cimorné.

EVIDENT CYCLING TEAM S E A S O N  2 0 2 5  :

From March 9, 2025 to the end of September 2025, an A- & B-ride starts every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM from our clubhouse at Sint-Annakring at Roklijf 4, accompanied by road captains. We will be back on site around 12:00 PM to enjoy some drinks together in - or on the terrace of - Sint-Annakring. Fun on and off the bike remains our motto in 2025!
