On Saturday, March 8 2025, the Ename Classic will open a new season of the Proximus Cycling Challenge. A beautiful season opener that sets the tone for a series of challenging bike rides through the most beautiful regions of our country. The Ename Classic is a first good test for those who have been training hard in recent months. For others, it's an ideal moment to awaken from their (bike) winter sleep.

Some unknown yet spicy climbs, smooth connecting sections, and stunning landscapes along the way, that is the Ename Classic. In short, the perfect ride to test and sharpen your fitness. The start of what will undoubtedly be a long and pleasant cycling season.

For the start and finish of the opening ride of the Proximus Cycling Challenge, we will head to Oudenaarde, a city that is closely linked to cycling for race enthusiasts. On the menu are four beautiful routes of 65 km, 90 km, 120 km, or 150 km. As a bonus, Brouwerij Roman provides a free bottle of Ename Abbey beer at the finish.
