Description by the author

Enjoy a unique walk through the beautiful (paid) Parc Naturel de Furfooz , located in the heart of the Lesse valley , near Dinant. This enchanting place combines nature, archaeology , and history in a surprisingly accessible way.

We'll visit the Roman baths , the remains of the medieval fortifications , and especially the various caves and a tropical forest in a ravine. About halfway through, from April 1st to the end of September, there's an opportunity to stop at La Flobette on the banks of the Lesse for a snack and a drink.

We start this walk at the church of Furfooz , but you can also park at the entrance of the park.
