Multimovepad Park Fort Liezele

The 2.5 km long, signposted multimovepad starts at the reception building close to Fort Liezele. Along the way, children can fully immerse themselves with challenging obstacles such as the balance course, the monkey bridge, the carousel, the water pump, a barefoot path, and stepping stones.

In a playful way, they practice the twelve fundamental movement skills here, such as climbing, jumping and landing, sliding, striking, pulling and pushing, walking, and running. Extra highlights are the xylophone and the climbing poles course, where children can truly give their best.

The path is also recommended for parents and caregivers. You can use it as a walking route. Just follow the route marked with Moovie, and you'll effortlessly stay on track.

The path runs through the beautiful Molenbeek valley, a recognized nature reserve. Here, ancient landscape elements provide a refuge for animals such as deer, weasels, foxes, and stone martens. Rare flowers like buttercup, hollandaise pipe, and cuckoo flower still grow in the hay meadow. With a bit of luck, you might see a kingfisher fishing or a falcon hunting.

The multimovepad is a collaboration between the municipality of Puurs-Sint-Amands, the Agency for Nature and Forests, and Sport Vlaanderen.
The construction of a number of obstacles and play equipment was realized with much creativity by the workers of the Agency for Nature and Forests.
