This beautiful bicycle route takes you past the most beautiful spots in and around the Kalmthoutse Heide. Get off at the new fire tower (between nodes 81 and 25) and enjoy the beautiful view over the Border Park. Or stop at watchtower de Stapper and enjoy the beautiful view over the enchanting Stappersven.
Here heathland, fens, meadows, forests and polder alternate. With a little luck you will see one of the many animals that live here, such as the woodlark or the moor frog.
By the way, did you know that the new fire tower is 42 meters high? Truly impressive to see!
