During this 3.1-kilometer walk, you immerse yourself in the rich history and architecture of the region. You start at the Sint-Amelberga, where the atmosphere of the 13th century immediately embraces you. As you walk further, you admire the neoclassical mansion that proudly stands in the village center. It tells stories from the second half of the 19th century. Next, you pass a charming townhouse with its characteristic half-hipped roof, which dates back to the 18th century. The route leads you to an impressive mansion from 1892, which, with its neo-Renaissance style, is a real eye-catcher. Then there is the Gothic Sint-Amelbergakerk, a beautiful heritage site from the 16th century. Enjoy the variety of architectural styles and let history come alive as you walk through this looped route.
