Routing Walk - most beautiful

This is a slightly modified and somewhat shortened version of the yellow route. A very challenging trip, where especially the "climb" of the twin hills will leave you gasping for breath. Also think of shoes with a good profile, as otherwise it can be tiring on muddy days. You also walk "over the water," actually much ado about nothing. The course is of course completely car-free, unfortunately not MTB-free, so you will occasionally have to jump aside for the owl callers without a bell on their bike, especially on Sunday mornings.

Parking is available at Maasmechelen Village: to reach the entrance of the park, you go through the French garden. There is a visitor center where you can have a small bite to eat and something to drink, closed on Monday, but you can enter the park through the revolving door.
