Walk in town through Mons.
Parking is a real problem in Mons. Especially in 2015, the city is a bit overwhelmed. It is recommended to find a place on Place Nervienne in the south-west of the city. The train certainly offers a solution as well.
For those who have never been to Mons and for those who visited the city - for example more than 10 years ago - this (renewed) introduction is certainly a pleasant surprise. The city has been transformed from a somewhat sleepy bourgeois provincial nest into a bustling cultural capital. This initiative will certainly continue for several years...
