AzureThe route, which crosses both a dead arm of the Scheldt and the river
current, will make you discover the fauna, flora and landscapes of the area
but also the history of the marshes (where the
hay, medicinal plants...) and inland waterway transport. The Mermaid of
Léaucourt and his legend or his ghosts ("immortalized" by
the writer Odilon Delimal in the nineteenth century) give a particular perfume
to this walk.
