Boontocht Zuid

This southern loop takes you past locations from Louis Paul Boon's historical novels. It is not the writer who is central, but the historical factual material from which he drew. Of course you will pass the famous 'Kapellekensbaan', churches and castles from 'het Geuzenboek' and a number of places where the Gang of Jan de Lichte met. This way you can cycle smoothly through the books and a piece of fascinating 'Boon history' is uncovered on the basis of the various locations.
