Sports trip to the heights of the Pearl of the Ardennes

To warm up, we walk along the road along the banks of the Ourthe to the foot of Cielle: the opportunity to discover a built-in valley. A right turn and the first difficulties arrive, along the winding road of Cielle!

Shortly before the village we leave in the forest for a rather technical and fast section that leads to a bet. We are now at the foot of a long climb through the 'Grand Bois' state forest of La Roche-en-Ardenne, which only ends at the top of the famous Col de la Haussire.

The return is by a very fast descent along a rocky path and here you have to be careful.

After more than three kilometers of breathtaking descent, we arrive at La Roche-en-Ardenne, nestled in the Ourthe valley, where we admire the beautiful stone sculptures along the river in Rompré Park.

Quai de l'Ourthe, cross the Ourthe bridge towards Hotton. Then turn right onto Rue de la Gare
