Landscape
This landscape includes some larger green spaces in the middle of the port area. These are the only places that were not raised or where the ground fillings were undone. These areas are completely isolated from other landscapes. There are two sub-zones that hardly have a physical connection with each other, but which have the same ecological and landscape characteristics. The Crested Duck, the Great Creek and Verlegde Schijns form one sub-zone that is developed entirely in function of nature. The Bospolder, Ekers Moeras and Muisbroek together form the other sub-zone, where nature development goes hand in hand with recreation.
