#180413 - Tangissart, Ry d'Hez and Kapellen***

WARNING, as we tested this on 13.04.2018, we found that this path is almost impassable in a section that follows the Ry d'Hez. In fact, the community of beavers that inhabits the area has built dams on the Ry which cause flooding. These floods can only be crossed with boots and are anyway under conditions that can be dangerous.

Until further notice, we recommend that you choose a route that bypasses the most difficult sections. You can find this alternative here:

This beautiful hike, which starts from the church in Tangissart, takes us 2.5 km along the so-called "Ry d'Hez", before leading us over the edge of the Tassenière forest to the plateau of the listed chapels with the famous chapel Try-au-Chène.
