Classic climbs Tour of Flanders | World2Cycle.com

This ride starts in Oudenaarde riding the most mythical and well known climbs of the Tour of Flanders. You will be riding cobbles and steep sections close to 20% gradient on narrow roads. This ride has about 15 short climbs which will make you suffer.

Paterberg, well known as the final climb in the Tour of Flanders, with its steepest point at 20%. Riding this loop you will be facing the Paterberg as the third climb.

The Koppenberg is merciless, one mistake can be fatal. This is the next climb after the Paterberg and within a 5km reach of each other. It’s a cobbled stone road 600 meters in length with grueling stretches of 22%. One of the steepest hills in Belgium with a bad, very uneven cobbled surface.

Muur van Geraardsbergen is a monument in pro cycling. Traditionally the Tour of Flanders finished in Meerbeke, and this short one kilometer climb was just 16 kilometer from the finish. The Muur van Geraardsbergen was the place where the Tour of Flanders is, more often than not, won or lost. The hardest part, which is a pitch close to the 20% mark, is quite near the top which lead you into the direction of the Chapel of Our Lady of Oudeberg.
