A change of route due to industrial work at the end of Sint-Anna forest. Info: During the summer, festivals take place on the grounds of Middenvijver, and the entire nature reserve is sometimes closed, so check online for festivals in Antwerp. Caution, as the starting point is in the low emission zone.

A walk on Linkeroever with plenty of greenery, between the harbor area and motorways. Parking at the edge of Sint-Anna beach with three large parking lots (still free) at Gloriantlaan, or for those who wish to stay a day longer, they can stay at City Camping Antwerp (formerly Camping De Molen, Jachthavenweg 6, 300 meters further than the start). Sint-Anna forest, Galgenweelpark, Middenvijver, all these green zones and nature reserves you pass through. At Galgenweel, you can watch sailors and water skiers on summer days. The stretch of beach at Sint-Anneke in a harbor town with its promenade like at the coast is also unique for a walk. You also pass the marina, with a view of the city of Antwerp from the dyke and you can take the water bus for €1 back and forth from Sint-Anna to Steenplein (for more information, see the 'De Waterbus' website). If you prefer not to cross the water to the other side, you can take the pedestrian/cyclist tunnel, built in 1933 and 570 meters long, to get to the other side dry.
