This route takes you through the south east of the region and involves some descents, climbs and other contrasts. You will explore working-class districts like the Marollen (Marolles) and find out about the prosperous parts of Brussels from the past and present. Ride along wide boulevards and leafy city parks, the result of renovations in the 19th century. Furthermore, you will experience how the bike is gradually becoming reintegrated in the city, despite all the work that remains.
