This hike utilizes the GR 512 and the Regional GR Dijleland.

During this tour, which stretches in the southwest of the provincial capital Leuven, you can discover the meandering rivers that have carved into the Brabant Plateau. You mostly follow the newly created Regional GR Dijleland. Upstream along the Voer, you admire maasromanesque churches.
Afterwards, you cross the plateau between fields and forests and enjoy breathtaking views. The IJse takes you to the Doode Bemde, one of the most important nature reserves in Flanders. From there, you continue to the fast-flowing Dijle. Along the way, you'll walk over an old tramway bed and discover the beautiful fauna and flora in the wet valleys.
