Take the Refugee Walk through the countryside of Bruges. In this shorter route, the node network will lead you through meadows and the nature reserve 'De Schobbejakshoogte'. In former times, thieves and highwaymen (also called 'schobbejakken', hence the name of the park) used to hide in this area. Nowadays it's the home of sheep, goats and ponies. That makes it the perfect route to enjoy the peace and quiet of the heath landscape.
