From Menen, it goes towards Geluwe (Moeremaai) and from there slightly hilly towards Kruiseke and Geluveld. The course becomes a bit bumpier around St Elooi, Voormezele. We also pass a number of historical sites from World War I like Hill 62 and Hill 60 around ZIllebeke. At Klijte, we start the real work with the Scherpenberg. From here, we descend towards Reningelst, which we leave to the right :-). From Westouter, we take on the Sulferberg and further climb the slope via the Pleute, a winding alternative through a little forest... We cross the road and at the beautiful church of Loker, we turn right and climb the schomminkelstraat but now from Westouter (in 1.51km we rise from 49 to 112m). We continue our way towards Rodeberg, descending via the Sulfer to Westouter and now climbing the Vidaigneberg (between Rodeberg and Zwarteberg, in 1.90km we rise from 49 to 138m). Next, we head towards Zwarteberg, which we enter at Croix de Poperinge towards Tere Plekke (Guesnestraete), koudekotstraat, Lettingstraat, indeed the Monteberg which takes us over 1km from 45m high to 108m. Enthusiasts can climb the Kemmelberg again (but it is not in the route), from here we descend via Gremmerslinde to Wulvergem, and if the wind is favorable, this is a nice road to gain speed via Kraaiberg, Mesenberg to Mesen.
