We have once again mapped out a new piece of Zottegem and the surrounding area, particularly taking Herzele into account, and created a route that we also explored, mostly unknown to us but still pieced together into a walking route. Along quiet and predominantly slow roads in a beautiful natural environment. From the Bevegemse ponds (starting point) to Herzele and then returning via Sint-Lievens-Esse and back to Godveerdegem to the starting point. I find it to be one of the most beautiful routes I've created.
