E 10 PUT and Uilenpad and the Marum in the breeding season

The Owl Path, that's walking pleasure for young and old. It is unspoiled nature and heritage. It's a 7.5 km long enjoyment of beautiful pieces of nature close to the inhabited world, wonderful views over meadows and avenues, colorful walking forests, and essential pieces of heritage in the center of Wuustwezel.

The starting point of this walk is located at the parking lot of the Gasthuishoeve, in the middle of the village. After a few steps, you will already find yourself at a stream that we follow through the meadow and after a few gates we arrive at the military domain and E 10 pond, via a detour in the Owl Forest back to the E 10 pond. You continue to follow the signs with the purple oval along the Marum - a nature reserve that has been made accessible since 2011 - and through the district of Achterbrug. Upon leaving the district, you can choose to follow the shortened version (4 km) and turn left after the little bridge. However, if you choose the full walk, you will still enjoy the avenues around the castle of Wuustwezel.
