"Fruit Harvest Cycling Route" Ride completed on 5/9/2020. Departure from the center of Kortessem, there is ample parking at the sports hall. Everything is paved, only in Borgloon a small section requires walking down a few steps. The ride goes via Alden Biezen to Vroenhoven, Riemst, Tongeren, and back to Borgloon. Along the way, many beautiful orchards with apples in all colors, and extensive pear orchards. It is definitely worth cycling in the fruit region during the harvest, instead of during the blossoms.
