Routing: Recreational cycling - junctions
This is a route from Loppem to Stene and back, established by the Friday cyclist. About 10 years ago, this route was designed to cycle through junctions to the outskirt of Ostend and the way to get there and back with a group of retirees, who we called ourselves 'The Friday Cyclists'.
Originally, we started cycling on Monday afternoons.
On good weather days, we had about 50 cyclists with us.
It was a wonderful initiative and a delightful activity!
Just pay attention: the outward path and the return path were different, we usually rode via low-traffic or car-free roads.
