Domain Beisbroek is a green domain with forest around the visitor center Cozmix, a public observatory with its castle and accompanying nature center. We start at the Planet Path, a walking path to scale of the solar system. Every step corresponds to 9 million km and each planet is represented by a sculpture. The first figurine is the 'Ice Dwarfs', and there are eleven more to go until the sun. Through the Chartreuse Forest and the Falcon Forest, we reach Domain Tudor, with its castle (Tudor style: an English architecture of the Tudor dynasty) built in the early 1900s and its enormous herb garden. Remarkably many benches and picnic tables along the route, which consists of 90% unpaved paths. Just walking the Planet Path back and forth is good for 2 km. Parking and departure from the parking area on the Diksmuidse Heerweg, most easily reached via the Zeeweg along the Torhoutse Steenweg (N32) as the Doornstraat has been closed (on the other side of the domain).
