A walk along slow roads and walking paths through the village center of Oostnieuwkerke.

You start at the church in Oostnieuwkerke and walk through the park towards the fountain. Cross the Basijnsmolenstraat and walk through the gate towards the soccer fields. Follow the asphalt road towards Cockstraat and turn right into Cockstraat. At the T-junction, turn left onto the German road. At the end, turn left into Veldstraat. A few hundred meters further, you can turn right to walk around the buffer basin; if you do not wish to do this, just continue along the concrete road and turn right at the end into Spanjestraat. Walk until the next street on the right, Rootputten. Just before the dilapidated farm, take the footpath leading to the new residential area. At the T-junction of this walking path, turn right and continue until the end, then turn left. You are now on Vlasschaard. Go left and a hundred meters further, turn right at the next walking path, and take a right here. You pass Kerckstede and arrive at Slijperstraat. Turn right and at the next street, turn left into Vlasbloemstraat, then 100 meters further, turn left into St. Patrickstraat. After taking a left turn, you enter the footpath that leads you to Vlasstraat. Continue this until you reach Brabandstraat, where you turn left until Penninckstraat. Follow Penninckstraat until the next walking path on your right side, take this and follow it until you reach the second small street on the right, Merelstraat. At the end of this street, turn left into Vyvestraat, and then the next street on the right. This is 14°liniestraat, which ends at 1° Jagerstraat. At the end of this road, walk along the bulge into the gravel path until you reach Roeselarestraat. Here, turn right, until the next intersection. Here, turn right into Ondankstraat and then take the first street on the right into Noordstraat. After 50 meters, there is a walking path on your right that you follow until the end. Here you arrive at the English courtyard. Turn left until you return to Noordstraat. At this intersection, turn left until Meulbroekenlaan and then right. Walk past the WZC “De Oever” and turn right into Mandelstraat until you cross Roeselarestraat to reach Brabandstraat. Continue this until just over the intersection

with Polenstraat and then walk directly opposite the new Chirohome, take a footpath to the right. Walk to the end of the grassy area and then turn left to exit the square at the end. Walk straight next to the senior housing of the OCMW and the daycare, then turn right into Kouterstraat until the cobblestones of Guido Gezellestraat. Here, go straight ahead until you reach the church, the endpoint of the walk.
