Limburg is a continuous chain of vast nature areas. We are making a walking trip from station to station through the most beautiful Limburg nature.

This eighth stage departs from the small station of Zolder and heads through the forest reserve Op den Aenhof towards Houthalen-Mijn. Under the impressive mine towers, you then walk to De Teut. This nature area, together with the Tenhaagdoornheide, forms a vast heath and forest area of more than 1700 hectares, the largest in Central Limburg. Just before the Genk agglomeration, we enjoy the smaller heathland area of Schemmersberg for a moment and then make our way through the city to the station along a surprisingly green route.
