Our 13th corona walk starts at the park at the back of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Veldegem. There is parking at both the front and the back, and it is also possible to park in the surrounding streets at the back. This time there are 5 distances marked out. The 4.6 km and 8.3 km walks are local loops suitable for strollers and wheelchair users. From the 14 km walk, you will walk to the beautiful Groenhovebos in Torhout.
The 8 km walk goes slightly further south and explores the area between Veldegem and Torhout in a more rural way. Along the way, we walk on the edge of the Plaisiersbos, a young oak and beech forest that several centuries ago consisted solely of wild uncultivated land.
