The nature trail in Lommel consists of no less than eleven loops in four different nature and forest areas: Sahara, Kolonie, Waaltjesbos and Kattenbos. Due to the connections between these different areas, many combinations and therefore distances are possible. The routes of Kolonie, Sahara, and Waaltjesbos are interconnected. Both start-to-runners and trail and marathon runners will be able to enjoy themselves here.
Kolonie
At the tennis club on Sint-Bernardusstraat, a blue loop of 3.1 km, a red loop of 5.1 km, and a black loop of 7.1 km start. The routes take you through the forests and heathland, along the sand pits and the canal, providing plenty of variety. Via a marked connecting route, you will find access to various loops of the Sahara.
