The Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure, with their numerous water sports opportunities, are a real treat for water enthusiasts. But do you prefer cycling? Or are you simply in the mood for a bit of variety? Then discover the Véloroute des Lacs. The fully signposted cycling route of 31 km takes you from Lake La Plate Taille along the Boot of Hainaut all the way across the French border. The gently hilly route, which partially follows RAVeL Line 109/2, is fully asphalted except for two gravel stretches, so even with an electric bike, the trip is quite manageable. Along the way, you will pass green meadows, forests, farmhouses, and villages such as Sivry-Rance, known for its extraction of red marble, and Touvent, just a stone's throw from France. The arrivée is located at Lac du Val-Joly (FR).
