Admittedly, it's quite a tough ride. But this 40-kilometer bike trip along the limestone strip La Calestienne and alongside the banks of the Ourthe is well worth the effort. The journey begins at the RIVEO interpretation center where you learn all about the fauna and flora of the Walloon rivers. From Hotton, you explore beautiful landscapes and cycle through the most charming villages of the Ardennes. The most famous stop along the route is perhaps the picturesque Wéris. On your way to Barvaux, the landscape starts to undulate significantly until you can continue cycling along the RAVeL next to the Ourthe all the way to the charming medieval town of Durbuy. In short, a wonderfully varied bike ride.
