Here you will find a selection of the best cycling and hiking routes that I have personally mapped and completed over the past few years in Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and more. I have paid close attention to the accurate GPX registration of all my routes, ensuring a pleasant hiking or cycling experience with RouteYou on your smartphone.

My hikes are somewhat adventurous and are generally classified by RouteYou as "hard" or "extreme". This is due to their length, if not the elevation gain. However, they take you to the most beautiful, often remote, spots in a region, avoiding paved roads and roads with car traffic. None of the walks is dangerous (except for: Levada do Curral), however, some require sufficient stability on your legs. Shoes with good thread can be helpful.

My cycling routes are not difficult for experienced cyclists. They are all designed for road bikes. They rarely exceed 100 km in length and rarely exceed 2500 meters in elevation gain. They avoid cobblestone roads, as well as unpaved or semi-paved roads.
