Ruta 40 or Route 40 is listed as one of the top routes you can do in the world with a motorbike. But it might take a while because Route 40 is one of the longest roads in the world, stretching more than 4 900 km along the eastern flank of the Andes. One of the most iconic spots on the route is the town of El Chaltén, a colorful village with dramatic views of the rocky spires of Mount Fitz Roy and surrounding peaks.
