Chancy is a municipality of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. The westernmost point of the country is located there.Chancy has an area, as of 2009, of 5.36 square kilometers . Of this area, 2.8 km2 or 52.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.75 km2 or 32.6% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.59 km2 or 11.0% is settled , 0.21 km2 or 3.9% is either rivers or lakes and 0.02 km2 or 0.4% is unproductive land.
