Albergo Monte Verità refers to a listed building complex with surrounding park on Monte Verità in Ascona, built between 1926 and 1929 by the architect Emil Fahrenkamp. A modern extension built in the 1990s was designed by the Ticino architect Livio Vacchini.
The hotel building has been included in the heritage register as the most important example of modern architecture in the canton of Ticino and is now classified as a cultural asset of national significance with the highest level of protection in Switzerland. The adjacent Museo Casa Anatta with the museum tour is of the same cultural significance. Protected items include additional buildings and the park.
