This trail offers spectacular views of the north face of the Matterhorn, idyllic Schwarzsee lake with the "Maria zum Schnee" chapel. Zermatt’s only alpine dairy is to be found at Stafelalp, and the charming little hamlet of Zmutt invites visitors to view the quintessential Valais chalets.
