From Ernen the trail leads through the forest to the Frid Alp with its sunny meadows filled summer alpine flowers. This is where the steep climb begins to the Eggerhorn (2503m). A breathtaking panorama awaits you at the summit, with stunning views of the Galenstock above the Rhone Glacier and across to the Weisshorn. The descent passes the Meili Alp and over the old Sennen path down to your destination in Imfeld.
