Motorcyclists visiting the Weserbergland have gotten into the habit of gathering at Köterberg, a viewpoint located 496 m above sea level north of Höxter. At the Köterberghaus, you can order Kaffee und Kuchen or a more substantial meal and accommodation for the night. In good weather, Köterberg offers beautiful panoramas of the Harz; it is sometimes referred to as the Brocken of the Weserbergland, with the Brocken being a well-known viewpoint in the Harz.
