The city of Weimar appears quite modest, and yet there is so much to say about it. The list of cultural activities is such that it is overrun by visitors every summer. A piece of advice: take refuge during the day in Goethepark, an oasis of calm frequented by students, and only venture out in the evening to the historic and pedestrian center, the Altstadt or old town.
