Buch is a market town in the Swabian district of Neu-Ulm and the seat of the administrative community of Buch.
The town is located in the Donau-Iller region in Central Swabia in the valley of the Roth, about 23 kilometers southeast of Ulm and 26 kilometers north of Memmingen. The Roth flows through the western area of the municipality. In the east, the Biber flows, still called Biberbach in this area. The west is mostly uncultivated, while south of the town of Buch and in the east there are some smaller forests, and to the southeast lies the Oberroggenburger Forest.
