Buch è un mercato nel distretto svevo di Neu-Ulm ed è sede della comunità amministrativa di Buch.
Il mercato si trova nella regione Donau-Iller nel Mittelschwaben nella valle del Roth, a circa 23 chilometri a sud-est di Ulm e 26 chilometri a nord di Memmingen. Il Roth attraversa la parte occidentale del comune. A est scorre il Biber, in questo tratto ancora chiamato Biberbach. La parte occidentale è perlopiù non forestata, a sud del paese di Buch e a est ci sono alcuni boschi più piccoli, a sud-est si trova la foresta di Oberroggenburg.
