Kella is a municipality in the Thuringian district of Eichsfeld. It belongs to the administrative community of Ershausen/Geismar.
Kella is a clustered village. It is located in the southern Eichsfeld and borders Pfaffschwende to the north, Geismar and Großtöpfer to the east, and the municipality of Meinhard in Hesse to the south and west. The area of the municipality lies between 230 and 520 meters above sea level. The Kellaer Bach flows through the village and merges into the Werra in Schwebda, Hesse.
