Zaisenhausen is the smallest municipality in the Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg. In addition to the village of the same name, there are no other places in the municipality of Zaisenhausen.
The municipality of Zaisenhausen, originally an old Franconian row village, is located on the northeastern edge of the Baden district of Karlsruhe in the Kraichgau hill country. The area of 1,011 hectares consists of flat hills covered with loess and loess clay, which are divided by the Wiesental of the Kohlbach and some small side valleys. The highest point in the district is reached in the northwest on Zaiselberg at 251 m above sea level. The lowest point is at 167 m at the Kohlbach on the municipal border with Oberderdingen-Flehingen.
