Dürrhennersdorf is a Saxon municipality in the district of Görlitz. It extends in the valley of the Großschweidnitzer water, near the border with the Czech Republic, and belongs to the administrative community of Neusalza-Spremberg.
The municipality of Dürrhennersdorf is located in the western part of the district, about 7 km south of Löbau at the northern edge of the Lusatian Highlands between Kuhberg, Seidelberg, Hutberg, and Hölleberg. Federal Highway 96 and the border with the Czech Republic run south of the municipal area. The Dürrhennersdorf railway station is located on the Ebersbach–Löbau railway line, which is closed except for freight traffic and special services. To the northeast of the village begins the Höllengrund, a narrow valley of the Großschweidnitzer water.
