Bad Oeynhausen is a district of the city of Bad Oeynhausen in the Minden-Lübbecke district. Until 1972, the present-day district was an independent town in the Minden district, which was founded only in 1860.
The district of Bad Oeynhausen borders to the west with the district of Gohfeld of the city of Löhne in the Herford district. To the south, the district borders Lohe, to the east Rehme, and to the north Eidinghausen and Werste.
