Mühl Rosin is a municipality in the Rostock district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is administered by the Güstrow-Land office, which is located in the non-administrative city of Güstrow.
The municipality of Mühl Rosin on Lake Inselsee borders directly to the south of the district town of Güstrow. The area of the municipality, located to the south and southwest of the Heidberge, which rise to a height of 46.7 m above sea level, is traversed by the Teuchelbach flowing parallel to the Nebel, which runs about 500 m to the east, the steep banks of which are protected by nature conservation. The forested area rises in the southern part of the municipality from about 10 m to 69.5 m at the Bullenberg.
